Nanda Devi East Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Dehradun to Munsiyari
We will drive from Dehradun to Munsiyari. Along the way , we will explore beautiful Himalayan valleys and Kumaoni villages on the way. We should reach Munsiyari by evening check into our hotel and watch the sunset over the Panchachuli and Nanda Devi ranges. Then we can. Get used to the high altitude.
Day 2: Munsiyari to Rilkot
We will drive to Rilkot. See the forested valleys and remote villages on the way. When we reach Rilkot we will set up our camp near the river. Relax, getting ready for the trek that is coming up.
Day 3: Rilkot to Ganghar.
We will start trekking along the river cross bridges and walk on forest trails. We should reach Ganghar by afternoon. Set up our camp near the big Himalayan peaks.
Day 4: Ganghar to Nanda Devi East Base Camp.
We will trek through the alpine terrain. Cross glacial streams. When we reach the base camp , we will see the Nanda Devi range and spend a peaceful night under the stars.
Day 5: Glacier Visit and Return to Ganghar
We will wake up early to watch the sunrise and visit the glaciers. Then we will return to Ganghar by evening and rest.
Day 6: Ganghar to Rilkot or Bagudiyar
We will trek down through the forests and valleys enjoying the trek. We will set up our camp at Rilkot or Bagudiyar for the night.
Day 7: Rilkot to Munsiyari.
We will return to Munsiyari. When we reach Munsiyari. Upon arrival we will check into our hotel , take a shower and have a relaxing evening.
Day 8: Munsiyari, to Dehradun.
We will return to Dehradun , remembering the glaci
